Orange Cranberry Healthy Smoothie

This is another smoothie I really like!

I have one for breakfast everyday with a cup of hot tea with lemon. This is a metabolism boosting meal



Tomorrow it will be three weeks since I started exercising and eating healthier. I exercise every day, well I’ve missed a couple. But so far, I’ve lost 11 lbs. I think that’s pretty good, do you?

Are you going through a weight-loss journey? I’d love to hear any of your tips or recipes. I’m looking for recipes every day. I get tired of baked chicken 4 times a week. But I’ll do whatever I have to. I just have to get this weight off!

Today was sort of a hard day to not eat something sweet. We visited our daughter, in jail. That’s always hard for me, makes me want to eat. But so far, (it’s evening now) I’m doing ok. In case you haven’t read my addiction posts at all, I’ll tell you. She’s in jail for heroin and meth use. She’s been there for 9 months now. It was supposed to be a stay there for 6 months and then on to the jail re-hab (RSAT). And we still don’t know when she’s going! It’s crazy!

This orange cranberry smoothie is very healthy and boosts metabolism. And it tastes really good!
  • 1 Cup Cranberry Juice
  • 1 medium orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1 large banana
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • 1 Tablesp Flaxseed Oil
  • ¼ cup whey protein powder or 1 protein bar
  • 1 C Ice
  1. Just put in blender and
  2. ENJOY!

  1. Keep it up, you are doing great. I can understand how visiting day would make you want to eat. It would make me want to eat too. That smoothie sounds fabulous. I’m glad you have something to take the edge off that is quick and easy.

    I have never thought about putting flaxseed oil in my smoothies.I would love to try this one

      Thanks for your comment! Yes, you can put anything in them. I tried Kale in one even, and you can’t even tell it’s there. So we can make them as healthy as we want!
